Our Story
Torcini & Co. (originally Torcini Asset Management Company) is an insurance brokerage established in 2021 by Nicholas Torcini. Prior, Nicholas worked towards becoming a financial advisor selling life insurance, but was unsuccessful. Then he worked for a local State Farm agency and learned about property and casualty insurance. Making very little money while selling for the State Farm agent (who collected most of the commission), it was clear that there was no future working for someone else pushing a single company's insurance products. It was then that he decided to start an insurance brokerage.
He knew that by doing so he could do better for himself by retaining his commission, thus building a future, and he knew that he could do better for his clients by offering them more options at a better price as a broker. He dreamt of a company that not only provided a service, but instilled trust, reliability, and knowledge. He sought the advice of his uncle, a successful insurance broker, who instructed him on how to acquire the necessary licensure and obtain access to the markets in order to provide insurance.
So Nicholas got to building the company, but it was no easy task. He worked fulltime while investing all his extra time and money into the company. He domiciled the company in Pennsylvania, acquired insurance licensure, designed the company's brand, built a website, established relationships with several insurance companies and helped many clients insure their property. Trial and error became second nature as many things had to be learned by doing and failure. However, Nicholas continued to steer the company in the right direction.

Today, Torcini & Co. is licensed in PA, NJ and FL and is insuring families and individuals through many insurance companies and insures businesses across a wide range of industries. Nicholas is growing the company by hiring new agents and mentoring them, providing them with the means to make insurance a career, not just a job.
